If you love the look of traditional English Crewel Work and have a steady embroidery practice that you would like to expand to a beautiful new-to-you style, this is the class for you!

We will explore traditional and non-traditional fabrics and threads used in crewel work. Then we will study what makes these traditional designs work and seemingly so timeless.
Stitches covered will include trellis work, working line stitches with the wool thread, and shading in lines and fill stitches.

Students will receive a list of materials needed upon registration and need to bring them to class.

Cost: $140 course fee, includes 4 hours of instruction

Prerequisite: Hand Embroidery 101 or equivalent skills
